CI/CD란?

Continuous Integration 빌드/테스트 자동화 과정

commit할 때마다 빌드와 일련의 자동 테스트가 이루어져, 코드 변경으로 인해 발생하는 문제를 사전에 방지한다.

 

Continuous Deployment 배포 자동화 과정

코드 변경이 파이프라인의 이전 단계를 성공적으로 통과했을 경우 별도의 개입 없이 해당 변경사항을 프로덕션에 배포한다.

1. 각 개발자가 feature 브랜치에 push
2. 각 코드를 통합
3. 통합 과정에서 디버깅

👉 코드의 양이 많아질수록 디버깅이 오래 걸릴 수밖에 없다.

CI/CD 적용 후 코드 통합 프로세스

1. 각 개발자가 feature 브랜치에 push
2. git push가 trigger로 작용해 CI 서버에서 알아서 Build, Test, Lint를 실행
3. 2번에서 에러가 발생했다면 이를 개발자에게 알린다. 개발자는 에러를 수정한 후 main 브랜치에 merge한다.
4. main 브랜치에서 Build, Test가 정상적으로 수행되었다면 CI 서버에서 자동으로 Deploy 과정을 수행한다.

👉 각 팀원이 push시에 에러 여부를 확인하기 때문에 디버깅 시간이 줄어든다. 또한 개발자가 일일히 Build, Test, Deploy를 할 필요가 없다.
